This and That

Kalee has lately taken a keen interest in her entrees at dinner. In particular, she has an insatiable curiosity about the meat on her plate. "Momma, what is this?", she asks. "Chicken", we reply. "Is it the leg? It is its thigh? Is it the tail?", shes asks. "How did it die?", she continues. "Was it a bad chicken? What is it a bad man or a good man that killed him?" We're really not sure where this is all leading. Is she building her case to go all Green Peace on us and become a vegetarian, or does she hope someday to become a butcher??? Only time will tell....
On the pregnancy front, we are 3 weeks and 5 days away from baby #3. Aprille is getting along, but we're not shy from saying that we are REALLY looking forward to her mom coming out to lend her expert hands! The kids are excited and can't wait for their new sister. The crib is set, the stroller and car seat bought (finally!), and BPA-free bottles secured.
Koebe and Kalee decided to get up and share their testimonies in church today for the first time. Koebe went up around the same time as a bunch of other people so he was a little confused as to when his turn was. He kept looking and pointing at us and finally he just "cut" and went up because he couldn't stand to wait anymore. He gets up and shares a very sweet testimony- he was very nervous, breathing heavy into the microphone. Kalee, was a little more self assured, but not sure she was able to distinguish between a "testimony" and a "prayer"- apparently, she thinks we need a new house- which she announced to the entire church. Thanks. :)

Seriously Kalee...that girl is hilarious! Cam is very literal too, and it scares me to think about what is really going on in his head when he asks me..."if the babies are scared in my belly because it is dark"

Tell Aprille...you go girl! You're closing in on the finish line!
