It has been too long since my last post, but since then the kids have provided some pretty good one liners to keep us laughing for a while:
Kalee in the bathtub: "Mom, my paws are dirty. Mom, my paws are wet."
Sidenote- sometimes she really thinks she's a cat, crawling on all fours, eating things off the floor, meowing constantly, licking her food and our arms and feet. Sometimes she doesn't want to cuddle, but if I ask "Where's my kitty?" She'll climb into my arms at pretend she is sleeping while I scratch behind her ears. Guess what she was to for Halloween???
Koebe, when at the Heard Museum and looking at different dinosaurs commented on what various dinosaurs ate. Leafs, plants and grass were all his standard answers until he got to the "big scary one with big teeth" and he responded with, "Little boys."
Kalee after observing her Grandpa's belly compared to her (as she pats his belly): "You have a big one, I have a small one."
Koebe, apparently influenced by the song "Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer", told his Grandma: "I'll take care of those reindeer!!" and commenced doing karate moves, like he was going to roundhouse Rudoph!
'Mommy, the forest is creepy!", Kalee said on a recent camping trip. Honestly! Where does she come from?!
